Ekapa is situated in Kimberley in the Northern Cape province of South Africa, near the Free State border. Ekapa Mining is the 100% owner of Ekapa Resources and Ekapa Minerals. Ekapa Resources is the owner of the underground mining rights and Ekapa Minerals is the owner of the surface mining rights. It is operated as one entity and comprises five units, namely Joint Shaft, Wesselton, Combined Treatment Plant (CTP), Surface Mining and Services and Support.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide a service to ensure the implementation and maintenance of non-technical training interventions according to Company needs
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the administration of non-technical skills
- Oversee the development of training/assessment materials
- Ensure implementation of training initiatives as per WSP to ensure compliance
- Administer AET, Scholarship, school support, vacation work, experiential trainees and Bursar programmes Administration of Internship programmes (arrange monthly reviews and report on progress)
- Administer development programmes
- Arrange performance reviews for trainees on development programmes
- ISO Coordinator – maintenance of quality management system
- Assist with auditing of training and development records
- Compile monthly training reports and statistics on Skills Development
- Complete and submit WSP/ATR annual reports
- Confirm qualifications and accreditation/registration of external service providers
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma in Human Resources
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- Computer Literacy (MS Office Suite)
- Knowledge of Human Resource Development / Skills Development – please indicate on your CV
ADVANTAGEOUS:
- National Certificate: Occupational Directed ETDP Level 5
- Skills Development Facilitator
OTHER SKILLS / COMPETENCIES:
- ISO 9001 understanding and implementation
