Ekapa Resources is the owner of the underground mining rights and Ekapa Minerals is the owner of the surface mining rights. JOB DESCRIPTION: The Engineering Draughtsman is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for engineering projects. This role involves collaborating with engineers and other professionals to ensure that designs meet specifications and standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and plans using CAD and Invertor software
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications
• Review and interpret engineering designs and specifications to create accurate drawings
• Ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback from engineers and clients
• Maintain organized records of all drawings and project documentation
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations
• Conduct site visits as necessary to gather information and ensure accuracy in designs
• Participate in design reviews and provide input on design improvements
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in drafting and design

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering Drafting, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience as a Draughtsman or in a similar role within the engineering industry
• Proficiency and experience in CAD Software
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices
• Valid driver’s license

• High attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Effective communication through presentations, schematic drawings and reports
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
